Fun Family Activities for Spring Break 2016

It’s spring break time. Yes, already.

What do you have planned?

If you don’t have anything scheduled yet, we’ve got some great suggestions for you and your family.

Burnaby Village Museum is hosting a spring break scavenger hunt. Admission is free. Open from March 14 – 24, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Carousel rides are $2.60. http://www.burnabyvillagemuseum.ca/EN/main/visit/events/events/spring-break.html

Fort Langley Spring Break Camps. There are two choices for camps including Fort Craft Camp from March 14 – 18 and Gold Rush Camp from March 21-25. Check their website for details: http://www.pc.gc.ca/eng/lhn-nhs/bc/langley/activ/activ17.aspx

Vancouver Art Gallery. There are a variety of activities for families wanting to check out the Vancouver Art Gallery this spring break. From March 14 – 18 you can view their current exhibit MashUp: The Birth of Modern Culture or take part in activities such as sketching, art hunts and games. Grouse Mountain. There are spring break adventure camps for ages 5 – 16. Children can enjoy building a snow village and many other fun activities. https://grousemountain.com/camps

Circus West. There are still a few spots left for this unique spring break camp. Learn to unicycle, juggle and more.   http://circuswest.com

Haney House Museum. There’s a kids day drop-in on Sunday, March 13 at the Haney House Museum with a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs theme. Take a look at the fun activities on offer here: http://mapleridgemuseum.org/spring-break-event/
